16-Feb-2019 Bach Comes Back to Town - Chester Bach Singers performs all six of J.S.Bach’s motets over two lunchtime concerts. In this concert, Bach’s Komm, Jesu, komm, Fürchte dich nicht and Singet dem Herrn are complemented by motets by Mendelssohn, who rescued so much of Bach’s music from obscurity in the early nineteenth century.
